OpenNeMaS Is a News Management System. A News Management System is a publishing system for the Internet for managing a framework with news and informations. In this framework a user will be able to create, edit and store thousand of contents but always in a collaborate work with other users.

It is free software, distributed under the GNU/GPL licence. This means that it can be used for any Internet site, whether personal or institutional, non-profit or commercial.

Basically a NMS in an advanced interface that work with several databases with the information of the site. This content can be: informations, news, photos, video, audio, media, documents, etc. OpenNeMaS is being developed and used by a community in which there is an open invitation to participate.
